Thomas Wolsey

Returning from London to York, he died at Leicester, where he lies buried (to the shame of Christ church men) yet without any monument.

And though, from his own store, Wolsey might have

A   palace or a colledge of his grave,

Yet here he lies interred, as if that all

Of him to be remembered were his fall.

If thou art thus neglected, what shall we

Hope after death that are but shreds of thee ?
