William Twisse

His son Dr. Twisse, minister of the new church near Tothillstreet Westminster, told me, that he had heard his father say, that when he was a school-boy at Winton College, that he was a rakel; and that one of his schoolfellows and camerades (as wild as himself) died there ; and that, his father going in the night to the house of the office, the phantome or ghost of his dead schoolfellow appeared to him, and told him I am damned : and that this was the beginning of his conversion.
