Mr. Johnson, minister of the Temple, buried him, the directory way (i. e. by Baxter's 'General directory of Worship', not the book of common prayer), where, amongst other things, he quoted the saying of a learned man (did not name him) that when a learned man dies, there dies a great deal of learning with him, and that if learning could have kept a man alive our brother had not died.
